🔧 Exterior & Overall Condition

• Full walk-around of exterior body, paint, trim, seals, and decals

• Windows & doors – open/close function, seal integrity, check for fogging or leaks

• Roof ladder climb – inspect seams, caulking, vents, skylights, and membrane condition

• Slide-outs – extend/retract, inspect for alignment, seals, and leaks

• Exterior storage bays – check for water intrusion, rust, or damage

🛋️ Interior Condition

• Floors, walls, ceilings – signs of soft spots, staining, or warping

• Cabinets, drawers, and latches – open/close test

• Furniture & upholstery – condition check, wear/damage noted

• Interior windows – seals, opening/closing, moisture between panes

⚡ Electrical Systems

• 120V outlets tested with polarity tester

• 12V outlets tested for function

• Converter and inverter function checked (if equipped)

• Electrical distribution/fuse panel – visual inspection, breakers/fuses checked

• Battery health – voltage check, cable condition

• Interior lights, switches, fans tested

• Refrigerator – test on electric & propane (if applicable)

• Microwave, stove, oven tested

• Roof A/C tested for cooling

• Fresh water pump tested for pressure and cycling

• Faucets (kitchen, bath, shower) – flow and leaks checked

• Propane system – sniffer tool used at fittings, appliances lit/tested

🪣 Moisture Intrusion Check

• Moisture meter used at key points:

  • Around windows & doors

  • Ceiling corners and roof transitions

  • Under sinks and in bathroom walls

  • Storage compartments and slide-out seals

• “Sniff test” for hidden mildew or dampness

🚛 Chassis & Engine Bay

• Fluid levels (oil, coolant, transmission, brake, power steering) checked

• Belts & hoses – wear, cracks, leaks

• Look for oil, coolant, and fuel leaks

• Radiator, overflow tank, and heater hoses inspected

• Air filter and visible wiring checked

🛞 Tires, Wheels & Safety

• Tire tread depth measured and DOT date decoded (age check)

• Tire pressure documented

• Brake lights, turn signals, running lights tested

• Fire extinguisher, smoke alarm, and LP detector checked

🚐 Road Test (10–15 minutes)

• Engine performance – acceleration, idle, startup behavior

• Transmission – shift quality, smoothness, unusual noises

• Steering response and alignment

• Brakes – stopping distance, feel, pull, or vibration

• Suspension – ride quality, rattles, or clunks

• Listen for unusual drivetrain or chassis noises

• Dash A/C and gauges verified
